We have, hands down, the most experienced and skilled Band Instrument technician in Western Oklahoma/North Texas. Tom Layton is a Lawton native and has over 40 years of experience in all facets of brass and woodwind repair. He’s also a talented musician – able to test-play his work before delivering the finished instrument. Woodwinds are his specialty, from simple pad and cork replacement to complete mechanical overhauls. His large off-site facility has a full machine shop, making possible fabrication of custom or obsolete parts. He offers free estimates before work is done and all work is guaranteed. spa: One of our most popular services is the “Guitar Spa” treatment. For a flat fee, your electric or acoustic guitar is “pampered” by having strings changed, frets polished, fingerboard conditioned, electronics cleaned and tested, and neck/action adjusted – all to your satisfaction. Your guitar will play as good as, and maybe better than new.
guitar pickup replacement: If there is one service that can turn a “good” guitar into a “great” one – it’s replacing the pickups. We have the knowledge and expertise to not only “replace” the pickups, but to advise you on the proper pickups to achieve YOUR desired guitar tone.
